A conversation with Jordyn Jenkins of UTSA Basketball

By now every UTSA basketball fan knows the name Jordyn Jenkins. Originally from Kent, Washington, where she attend Kentridge High School, Jenkins made her way to UTSA from USC last summer. She made her presence felt immediately. Jenkins won both the Conference USA Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. A conversation with Zoe Lam of UTSA Soccer

Zoe Lam is the first female Runners Rising Leader for 2023. Zoe is a junior defender/midfielder on the CUSA conference championship women’s soccer team. Originally from Cheyenne Wyoming, Zoe has several titles to her name including 2018 state champion. Zoe is also a force off the pitch earning both C-USA Academic Honor Roll and Commissioners Academic Medal for 2021-22. As a Runners Rising Leader, Zoe earned a long-term NIL deal with the Runners Rising Project. An honor well-deserved given Zoe’s involement with TopSoccer, a US youth soccer program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. Read more
