Q&A with Mia Soerensen of UTSA Volleyball

Mia Soerensen is a junior opposite hitter on the UTSA Volleyball team. She had an outstanding 2023 season being named to the All-American Athletic Conference Second Team after leading UTSA in points (386) and kills (337). Mia also excels off the court with her studies as a neuroscience major. She is currently studying with Semmes Foundation Distinguished Chair in Cell Biology, Jenny Hsieh. A conversation with Trey Moore of UTSA Football

Last season Trey Moore was named to the 2022 Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team. For those of us that followed UTSA this last season know exactly why. Moore was also named to Conference USA’s all freshman team as well as all-conference honorable mention. Trey had 59 tackles to go along with 18 tackles for loss, breaking former UTSA great Marcus Davenport’s single season record. I had some success throughout my time at Steele HS and was fortunate enough to be selected to play in the 2018 Army All-American game.
