As you all know, everything we do is based on donations from the UTSA fanbase. Those donations go directly towards our ability to support deals with student athletes, which in turn is returned to the fanbase with some sort of content creation with these athletes. With the Roadrunners’ Football season a little under five weeks away, we’ve decided to mix it up a little bit, and are expanding the content we’re providing…so that said…
Recently, we came across a mini-UTSA football helmet which we think would look awesome on a desk in an office, or placed somewhere prominently at someone’s tailgate (perhaps a centerpiece?). We got in touch with UTSA Football’s Joshua Cephus (Senior, Wide Receiver, #2…follow him on Twitter at @joshua_cephus) and he was gracious enough to sign this helmet for us, as part of an NIL deal with him. We paid him a flat fee for his autograph, and in turn, we’re raffling off the helmet to help raise money so we can expand our support capabilities. Additionally, and per our NIL agreement, Joshua gets 20% of the money raised by this raffle.
Here’s how the raffle works:
1) Donations received between now and 8am on Friday August 5, 2022 will go toward the raffle. Follow this link to donate.
2) Every $10 donated gets you a raffle ticket.
3) Donations marked recurring get an extra 5 raffle entries. However, $10 is the minimum donation to be considered.
Raffle Entry Example: A recurring donation of $50 will get 10 total raffle entries, 1 for each $10, and another 5 because it’s recurring.
Additionally, current recurring contributors to Runners Rising will have their contributions count toward this raffle!
The winner will be announced Saturday via Runners Rising Social Media accounts.
